THE ROLE
What you will work on.
We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing & Quality Engineer to bridge mechanical engineering design intent with high-precision shop-floor execution.
You will optimize fabrication routing, manage CNC laser cutting and press brake programming, supervise certified robotic welding cells, and uphold ISO 9001:2015 quality standards across all production orders.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule production routing across CNC laser, press brake, welding, and assembly
- Optimize sheet nesting programs for minimal scrap and rapid cycle times
- Oversee welding quality (MIG/TIG/Laser) in accordance with ISO 3834 standards
- Perform dimensional inspection using Bridge CMM, height gauges, and granite tables
- Maintain ISO 9001:2015 quality records, calibration schedules, and inspection reports
- Drive 5S, lean manufacturing initiatives, and continuous process improvements
What we are looking for
- Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering
- 3+ years experience in precision sheet metal fabrication or machine building
- Knowledge of CNC fiber laser cutting, CNC bending, and sheet metal unfolding
- Proficiency in reading complex engineering drawings and GD&T specifications
- Experience with CMM inspection or quality management systems is a strong plus
