Draftdu engineers high-precision body-in-white (BIW) fixtures for automotive OEMs and tier-1 suppliers, including geo framing stations, robotic welding fixtures, and CMM dimensional checking fixtures. Every fixture is engineered from scratch around the component's GD&T datum scheme, welding gun approach angles, and clamp sequencing.
Our fixtures incorporate hardened D2/EN31 locating pins, pneumatic toggle clamps with position feedback sensors, and modular shim packs for micron-level tuning. Full 3D kinematic reach studies and offline programming (OLP) simulations ensure zero interference with robotic spot, MIG, and laser welding tools before fabrication.
